This is a Neptune Benson Trident CO2 Feeder Single Tank with bracket and 120 volts. With this system, the Single Tank Regulator is sold separately item 11471. The unit is constructed of all corrosion resistant materials. The bracket is T316 stainless steel. It has a nonferrous adjustable rate of flow indicator/meter which has a 30 SCFH range. And the unit includes a 1/4 inch FPT two-way solenoid valve, normally closed, 125 psi.
The Trident CO2 Feeder includes an injection nozzle/diffuser assembly and 1/2 inch NPT x 3/8 inch O.D. tubing. Other items included are: 8 foot power supply cord and 10 feet of 3/8 O.D. poly tubing.
CO2 is the safest way to lower pH in your pool. The Neptune Benson CO2 unit will eliminate handling of hazardous materials. It also prevents the danger of accidentally mixing chlorine and acid. It will not cause corrosion to any mechanical room equipment the same way acid can.
CO2 increases total alkalinity in the water and is not recommended for pools were high alkalinity is a problem.
