The Pentair R211600 is a replacement latch and sealing O-ring kit used on Pentair/Rainbow leaf trap (leaf canister) assemblies. Replacing worn latches or a flattened O-ring helps restore a tight lid seal and prevents suction leaks that can reduce cleaner performance and pump prime.

Installation Notes

- Replace the latch parts as needed and confirm the lid closes evenly all the way around.
- Restart the pump and check for air bubbles in the canister or suction loss.

- Still pulling air: confirm the O-ring is seated correctly and the lid is not warped or cracked.
- Lid won’t clamp tight: inspect hinge points and latch alignment; debris in the rim can prevent sealing.
- O-ring keeps popping out: make sure the groove is clean and the O-ring is not twisted.
