Pentair 270068 Valve Top Assembly (Key/Cover Assembly) | Hi-Flow 1-1/2″ Multiport Valves
The Pentair 270068 is an OEM replacement valve top (key/cover) assembly for select Pentair/PacFab Hi-Flow 1-1/2″ top-mount and side-mount multiport valves. This is the complete upper assembly that contains the handle, diverter/rotor mechanism, and cover—used to restore smooth switching and proper internal port sealing.

- Hi-Flow 1-1/2″ top and side-mount multiport valve models commonly referenced as 261177 and 261173
- Used on select Pentair/PacFab sand and D.E. filter systems that use the Hi-Flow 1-1/2″ multiport valve (model/revision dependent)

- Persistent leaks or poor performance after basic gasket/O-ring service
Installation Notes
- Shut off the pump and relieve all filter pressure before servicing the valve.
- Mark the current valve position and take photos of the assembly before removal.
- Inspect and replace the cover O-ring/spider gasket (as applicable) if worn.
- Tighten screws evenly to avoid warping the cover and causing leaks.
- After servicing, run Rinse briefly after Backwash before returning to Filter.
