Tortoise Ornament

In the story “The Tortoise and the Hare,” turtles show us that slow and steady wins the race. Since turtles carry their homes on their backs, they are at home anywhere! When threatened, turtles can withdraw into their shells to protect themselves. Turtle ornaments remind us of the security that our hearth and home offer.
