Overview
The WLKATA Mirobot Professional Kit is the higher-tier version of the WLKATA Mirobot 6-axis desktop robotic arm. It uses the same 6+1 axis arm as the Education Kit, with a 315 mm reach, 0.2 mm repeatability, and a 250 gram standard payload (up to 400 grams near the desktop), and adds a fuller set of end effectors, a wireless teach pendant, and university-level curriculum for deeper coursework.
The Mirobot has the same 6+1 axis configuration as a typical industrial robot, so it is well suited to teaching real forward and inverse kinematics, motion planning, and pick-and-place. The professional bundle is aimed at high-school CTE programs and university robotics labs that want to go beyond the basics into simulation and full programming workflows.
It supports a wide range of control methods, from a wireless Bluetooth teach pendant and Blockly visual coding for beginners, through Python and G-code, up to ROS, MATLAB, and CoppeliaSim for advanced robotics courses.

Setup and Getting Started
- Unbox and inspect: Remove the Mirobot, control box, teach pendant, and end effectors, and check for shipping damage.

- Connect power and control: Connect the control box, and pair the wireless teach pendant over Bluetooth.
- Install WLKATA Studio: Install the software and try teach-and-play and Blockly first.
- Attach an end effector: Fit a gripper or the pneumatic set; tools swap quickly with thumb screws.
- Move into simulation: Follow the curriculum to connect the arm to ROS, MATLAB, or CoppeliaSim for advanced projects.
