Overview
The WYBOT M2 Vision Tech takes the long-runtime M1 platform and adds an onboard AI camera. It cleans floors, walls, and waterlines across pools up to 4,305 square feet, runs up to 300 minutes on a 10,000 mAh battery, and uses a 120 watt brushless motor for strong suction. The AI camera and visual algorithm let it detect debris and clean the floor up to 20 times faster in its AI Vision mode, also called Dirt Hunting mode.
Filtration is dual-stage: a 6 liter, 180 micron filter basket captures larger debris, and a 40 ppi ultra-fine sponge traps finer particles. You can choose from seven cleaning modes and seven paths, set them in the WYBOT app, or select modes using touchscreen buttons on the robot itself. The cleaner supports over-the-air updates, so its behavior can improve over time.
The M2 Vision differs from the M1 mainly in its AI camera: where the M1 cleans methodically by path planning, the M2 targets the dirtiest areas of the floor. Note that the AI camera is for debris detection, not 3D pool mapping; WYBOT’s S3 is the model that adds 3D mapping.

Setup and Getting Started
- Charge the unit: Charge the M2 fully before first use. Turn the unit off before charging, and make sure the charging port is dry.
- Install the app and update: Download the WYBOT app, create or sign in to an account, and connect. Install any firmware update offered before the first cleaning.
- Choose a mode: Select a cleaning mode and path in the app, or use the touchscreen buttons on the robot. Use AI Vision mode for faster, targeted floor cleaning.
- Place and run: Lower the M2 into the pool and start the cycle.
- Retrieve and clean: When it parks at the wall, lift it out with the retrieving hook, then remove and rinse the filter basket and sponge under a hose. Store the unit out of direct sunlight.
